Uploading & Downloading Videos
Get your footage into Frooty from your computer or YouTube, pick up where interrupted uploads leave off, and download originals or shared videos whenever you need them.
Hit Upload (or drag files in), organize assets into folders like Videos and Drone Shots, and track versions - all in one place.
Getting Videos Into Frooty
Upload From Your Computer
Open any project and click Upload (or drag files straight onto the page). Large files are supported - even multi-gigabyte masters - and you can keep working while uploads run in the background.
Import From YouTube
Paste a public or unlisted YouTube URL and Frooty imports the video with its title, transcript, and chapters. See the Import from YouTube guide.
Upload a New Version
On any video, open the Versions panel and upload a revision. Viewers always see the latest cut, while every previous version remains available for comparison and comment history.
Resume Interrupted Uploads
If your connection drops mid-upload, Frooty picks up where it left off instead of starting over - just re-select the same file when prompted.
Downloading Videos
Download the Original
Open a video and use the Download menu to grab the untouched original file - exactly what was uploaded.
Allow Downloads on a Review Link
Creators can let clients viewing a review link download the video. Toggle download permission when creating or editing the share link.
