How It Works
Feedback Lands as Markers
When a client leaves a comment or draws on the video in the review room, the Frooty panel places a marker on your active timeline at that exact moment - no more scrubbing around hunting for “that one note”.
Fix It, Then Check It Off
Address the note in your edit, then mark it done in the panel. The client's review room updates instantly to show the note as Resolved, so everyone knows what's handled.
Send a New Cut Without Leaving the Timeline
Open the Upload Sequence tab in the panel and hit export - Frooty renders your current sequence in the background and uploads it as a new version, so clients see the fresh cut automatically while you keep editing.
Export Options, Straight From the Timeline
The Upload Sequence tab isn't just a one-click dump - every render can be tuned before it goes out:
Pick the Range
Export the Entire Sequence or just the section between your In and Out points - perfect for sending a single revised scene instead of the whole cut.
Choose a Render Preset
Match the delivery target: H.264 Match Source in High or Medium bitrate for reviews, YouTube 1080p/720p and Vimeo 1080p presets for social delivery, or ProRes 422 / 422 HQ / 4444 when a client or colorist needs masters. You can also render through Adobe Media Encoder (AME) instead of directly in Premiere.
Choose Where It Lands
Pick the destination project for the upload - or flip on Stack as New Version to stack the render on top of an existing video as v2, v3, and so on, keeping every revision in one thread.
Turn Timeline Markers Into Comments
With Upload Markers as Commentsenabled, the markers on your sequence travel with the render and arrive in the review room as timestamped notes - your to-do list becomes the client's change list.
Keep a Local Copy (Optional)
Save Local File Copy keeps the rendered file on your disk in a folder you choose, so you always have the exact .mp4 you sent - handy for archives and deliverables folders.
