Data Deletion

1. How to Request Deletion

You can request deletion of your data in any of these ways:

• From your account: open Settings, go to your Profile section, and choose Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm, and the account is deleted immediately.
• By email: write to privacy@frooty.ai from the address on your Frooty account. We verify your identity before deleting anything.
• From Facebook: if you connected a Facebook Page, Instagram or Threads account to Frooty, you can request deletion from Facebook Settings → Your Facebook information → Delete your Facebook information. Meta sends that request to us, and we delete the matching connections right away.

We respond to every request within 30 days. Most Meta data-deletion requests are processed immediately, and you receive a confirmation code that you can quote if you need to follow up.

2. Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) Data

When you connect a Meta account to Frooty, we store the account identifiers and access tokens Meta issues for that account, along with the scheduling and publishing history for posts sent to it.

A deletion request for your Meta data removes:

• the connected Facebook Page, Instagram account and Threads account records;
• the stored Meta access tokens and refresh tokens;
• the scheduled posts and publishing history for those connections.

Your Frooty account, videos, projects and workspace are notaffected by a Meta-only deletion. Delete your Frooty account separately if you want that removed too — see section 1.

3. What We Keep After a Deletion

• Audit records: we may retain a minimal record that a deletion request was received and fulfilled.
• Legally required records: tax, accounting and other records we are required to keep by law are retained for their statutory period.

Backups containing your data are overwritten on our normal backup rotation, so residual copies are removed within 30 days.

4. Other Platforms

YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, X and Post For Me connections are not affected by a Meta data-deletion request. Disconnect them from Settings, or include them in a full account deletion request to privacy@frooty.ai.
